Our pastors do not get paid.
There is no paid staff, youth group, or fancy cafés at The Kindred Church of Kansas City. We spend our money differently because we are committed to making our world look more like God’s Kingdom and our churches less like Disney World.
We’re doing this to better resemble Jesus Christ.
We give away 85%
We are commited to flipping the typical financial structure of the church on its head, insist on spending time together beyond a service, and encourage all of our people to realize and mobilize their God-ordained passions.
When we’re not spending money on ourselves, we can bless the world, live out our calling, and expand God’s Kingdom.

This church will astound and inspire by blessing neighbors and strangers alike in material ways, and on an unrivaled scale. We are able to achieve such an impact because we prioritize camaraderie beyond the limits of a church service; achieving unparalleled closeness and trust for one another.
Kindred Church can afford to value generosity and camaraderie equally since we empower the laity. That’s you. Our pastors are not here to solve all of our congregants problems or live out the great commission on their behalf. We NEED our people, and what God has caused their hearts to burn for. In this way, disciples are made and multiplied among us and beyond us.
